CA wants a front plate, my Z really doesn't. The baby only gets what she wants.

do like me, drill the holes and put bolts to hold it up, under the bumper, and then put the plate in the car, so whenever you get pulled over you just say it fell off, and you can put it on right infront of the officer. And then just take it off when he does. In ontario they cant give you a ticket for that, atleast thats what the cop told me when it happened to me

Do you mean Ontario, Canada? That sounds like a good idea!

I hate having to run the front plate on my car.........especially since the factory has CAMARO written on the nose under the plate, and the LS1 front ends look so cool without the grill and with a screen kit on either side of where the license plate normally goes. Maybe I should do that though.........carry the plate around w/me and claim it just "fell off"!!!

yes sir,Ontario Canada. I have the bolts mounted on the under side of the bumper, and i just keep the plate in the back seat. When i told the officer it fell off, he said "Well then, put it on" ( I think he was trying to catch me in a lie ) So I did, and he sent me on my way.

my front plate is mounted to the airdam. Been like that for six years, been pulled over and nothing was said. The front plate for my vette lives behind the drivers seat
officer " I see you don't have a front plate"
me "it's behind the seat"
officer "OK, .....nice car"

When I bought my car in Washington, it already had the front plate on there. As soon as I change my plates to Kentucky, the front one comes off.

Ohio requires them... I hate them.

I never attached it to my Corvette (1995) or my Camaros (1989 , 1999) when I had them...

I have attached them to the front of the current cars, though, because it's not so much a big deal to me on these cars...

I did get 1 ticket for it when I had the 99...

Big fine in Texas, $200 or so, not worth the risk. I recently caved and purchased a bracket off Ebay.

I hate Virginia's stupid laws...if you leave it up to them eventually a car off the showroom floor will get a ticket for having illegal equipment.
