Front Passenger side fender out a little at bottom

I've noticed alot of camaros (93-02) have this passenger side front fender thing goin on.

At the bottom near the jack supprt the fender seems like its stickin out a little like someone tried to jack it up using the fender instead of the support. I doubt that caused it though as you would think there would be far more damage?

I noticed this on my car shortly after i bought it and coincidentally right after it was out of the shop. Since discovering it on my car I've noticed it on lots of other camaros. I tried banging it back in a little near the fender bolts, that helped a little but it's still fairly noticeable.

Anyone else have this minor appearance isssue and any permanent solutions?

sounds like they might have lifted it wrong when it was in the shop, b/c that is a sign of improper lifting/jacking. Not sure though, just a thought.

its because there's a jack pad right next to the point where the fender bolts to the underside of the car and the lip that hangs down there gets stuck on most jacks. you can bend it back, but be careful you dont crack that piece, dont use a hammer like i did the first time i noticed it.

This is a very easy fix that you can do yourself at home. First, unbolt the fender at the flange where it's' bent. There should be 2 bolts.

The fender will likely still be badly bent when you unbolt it. Leave it alone--bending it back may cause it to crack and then you're REALLY screwed.

Next, find vice grips, a hammer, large pair of pliers---anything you can to bend the flange back to vertical and straighten it out.

Next, carefully reinstall the fender at the flange, tightening as much as you can w/o cracking the fender. As the fender flange flattens out and returns to vertical, continue tightening the bolts until it is secured.

yep, what he said. Although you don't have to unbolt those 2 bolts. They are 10mm just fyi.
