Front bow-tie

Just recently bought a '94 Z28. Owned a '95 V6 for 3 years before this. I noticed that unlike my old V6, my Z doesn't have a bowtie molded into the grill between the foglights? Is this a sign that the car may have been wrecked and repro bumpers don't have the bowtie? Or was the bowtie only on certain years?

The front bowtie is just stuck on, a lot of people take it off... its not molded in. you can buy a new one at your local dealership and stick it on.

A TON of people think it is moulded on there so don't feel bad I even took a picture to show that it really isn't for those firm disbelievers! hahahaa

Why not just pull it off and paint it? I painted mine black and put a chrome bowtie over lay on it from Brent.

These are the only pics i have of right it right now. The first pic of it with reflective light silver, i then changed all my decals over to chrome. If these don't work for you Brent let me know and when i clean my car i'll get you some new pics. I just don't do super close front end pics anymore because about 6 months ago a truck threw the tread off its tire on the highway and i hit it, spider cracking my freshly painted front end.
