Freshly Painted Calipers - Pictures Inside

Welp, this is one of my winter projects that has been complete and I finally got around to taking some pictures. I have a red 97 SS and went with silver caliper paint because I didnt want something as loud as red. I used the G2 kit from Tire rack and am happy with how it turned out. I plan on getting the "Camaro SS" vinyl kit for the front calipers in red with black outline to make it stand out some.

Thanks. I would recomend while its still cool out. It is a weekend project and the kit that I used recomends the car sits for at least 24 hours so the paint can dry.

they look like stock aluminum calipers. with those wheels you need to match them with the color of your car

They look good, I probably would have picked a different color to make them stand out a little more as well, but the subtle,clean look is working good for you too.

To be honest, thats kind of the look I was going for. I like noticing bad *** aftermarket calipers that stand out. Since those are expensive and really not necessary, Just wanted a humble, clean look.

I plan on getting the vinyl "Camaro" sticker in red for the front calipers so they will stand out a little bit.

Will the vinyl sticker hold up to the heat generated by the caliper? Unless you were going to use the stickers as stencils, and paint the word Camaro on the calipers.

Yes the stickers will hold up.

Yes the stickers hold up great, i've had mine for about 4 years. I like what you did with the calipers, they match your wheels pretty good.

Thanks. I actually originally wanted the blueish silver color that is on new GM cars these days, but I couldn't find it. Ill post some updated pics after I put on the stickers.

Oh yeah, the stickers add at least 12 Horse power
