Fog light Repalcement?
Fog light Repalcement?
I was thinkin about changing out my lights and replacing them with some actual fog light bulbs. It's about winter time here and they would come in handy during all the fog we get. Anyone done this? Know of anyplace that i could get the bulbs? Thanks
Just wanting to replace the bulbs? All you need is an 885 or cross referencing bulb number and you should be set.
With the way you worded it, I am not exactly sure what you mean - but it sounds like you don't like the way the things are stock? You aren't gonna get much better, because it is a week bulb in a not so great housing. If you want something effective, do a complete swap. There is one such replacement in my sig - but there are plenty of other options as well.

Hella makes a nice replacement that doesn't need much to fit (just a bracket, and I know someone who can make them for about $20).
It's their FF75 model, and they have a fog light version of it (I got the driving light). It comes with the bulbs, relays and all wiring you'll need.
They look great, and REALLY light well! Only $60 from Advance Auto Parts.
