And here is some useless automotive trivia for you, the first production car with a turbo was a sport version of the Corvair. The name slips my mind right now (monza?) it wasn't to terribly fast but it was the first production car with a turbo.

If anyone is interested...........

I may be willing to give out (on a limited basis) the schematic/circuit that they are selling for $80+. It does require some electronics fabrication eg: soldering, circuit wiring, and such. But if you know how to do all these things and you want your car to do this get a hold of me. I'm not going to post it on here, for multiple reasons, but the main one being that It took me some time and effort to get everything together, plus 95+% of the people on this board wouldn't be able to figure out what everything meant. But... All the parts can be gotten from Mouser.com, and a LOT cheaper than $80.

So if it cuts the engine to allow raw gas to get in the exhaust, doesn't that mean you have no vroom sound to go with the flames?

Anyone running a nice size cam, I would imagine, wouldn't need to cut the engine to get the flames.

Everyone who wants the schematic I will send it out. I scanned in my drawin schematic.. and lets just say that unless you know how to read chicken scratch you're not goign to understand it. I'm working on making a real electronic schematic version of it. Give me till the end of this week, and I'll send it out. The total cost for the box ~$20 + shipping from www.mouser.com. The schematic is still untested and I give no guarentee to it working. But.... I've ordered the parts for my box and will be building it this weekend hopefully and will let everyone who I e-mail how everything works.

As an update for everyone who wanted one.....

WE HAVE SPARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have my prototype unit working as we speak. I'm getting some nice 1/2" long bright blue sparks, and the nice HMMMMMM to go along with it.

I'll be sending out all the details within a week, including the Coil P/N that I got from Advance for $11. Total cost for everything for a dual exhaust car should be ~$50 including ALL the parts.

If anyone else wants details, read above on previous knowledge needed, and send me a note.

Can you possibly make a website that can be referenced to and put all the information and details on it? The second you do please let me know. Or email me at NjoyinXtremes@aol.com

Well.. all the info is out there... it's just knowing where to look. I found almost everything I needed to know on the circuit itself within about 20 mins of searching.

I'm working on getting the little details worked out (tweaking some resistor values), that'll be done this weekend, and then it's just a matter of putting the schematic/parts list together and then I'll send it out.

I don't think a page will do many people on this board much good. You have to be able to make your own circuit boards/soldering/etc. There's a handful of people on this board that I'd give enough credit to do this, but... I'll send you guys out the info as well. If you do make a webpage out of it, which you have my permission, please credit me.
