Fitting Harwood Hood

Has anyone installed their own hood? I just recieved my cowl Harwood Hood and the instructions read that there is rolled edges that need to be trimmed. What does this involve? Does anyone have any pics of an install?

The lip they are talking about is the @ 1/2 in. that extends down around the edge of the hood.I used a die grinder and a cut off wheel on mine and it worked just fine.On mine I had to remove almost all of the lip around the sides and then used sand paper to smoth the edges.

I didn't mess with mine, i let my buddy do it at his body shop. They didn't have to take all of the lip off with mine, about half.

Thanks for the replys. So, I guess I'll just have to trial fit the hood several times while sanding the edges.
