Great. Just great. The first Camaro with this kit and they spell it "camero" in the link and it has altezzas. Great looking kit otherwise except the doors swing out a lot. One of the coolest things about these kinds of doors is it makes it easy to get out of the car. That seems to kill it.

Talking

Yeah, I didn't notice that about the camero mispelling. I told them about it and he will fix it in tonights server update.

The doors have to swing out farther because otherwise it would crush the mirror. You know how the fender comes right up to the mirror right?

Also.. it's 4000 installed. You have to come to Tampa Fl, or bring your car here.

You can also check out their site at www.carexcess.com or you can call them at 727-216-7878

Sorry about the altezza's! I'm trying to convince my friends that an american car can be just as much a "fast and furious" street racer as their import trash, so you gotta assume the role.. ya know?

How much is just the kit? I see in your site that all the kits are a "direct bolt on" I'm assuming its still over 3k for just the parts.

Edit: Will this kit work on t/a's or just camEros?

Well see, the problem is, that the inner fender needs to be modified. Also.. look closely, you will see that part of the OUTER fender, has been molded onto the end of the mirror. Unfortunately, I think that they will only do the custom application at the shop in Tampa.

Keep in mind I drove here from Wichita KS. It's worth it. They do AWESOME work.

Call them.. Preferably tonight. 727-216-7878... Ask for Ian, he will let you know if he will sell the hinge itself to you and wether or not you can just take it to any body shop or do it yourself if you are certifiably insane.

I also had them install "shaved door handles" Basically, they removed my door handles and keyholes, and installed a remote pop for the doors so it opens automatically. It's sweet. I should have pics here in a few hours.

Lightbulb

I don't know about T/A's... Do you know where I can get a picture of the side of the car with and without the fender on? I can email it to Ian, and ask him if it would work the same.

did they cut that part of the fender off and attach it to the mirror?(edit i see you posted while i was typing this) it looks like it in those pics. and i see it is listed under custom, so i bet you cant order a direct bolt on kit...

I just talked to the guy that owns the place, he says that he can do it on any car, and would probably give you a discount if you are the first one to come in with a T/A
