Firebird/TA Shift handle for auto

Ok, I have been looking for a shift handle out of an automatic Firebird/TA and have just one question. Did they ever make them with grooves in the back side (side facing the dash) for your fingers, almost like a pistol grip? For some reason I remember driving someones car (dont remember if it was an fbody or not) and the T handle had those groves in it.

If anyone knows what year they made them like that or what other car is equipped with them that will fit my camaro please let me know!

I got a "T" handle for my Camaro from a Pontiac Grand Am. Don't remember the exact year but it was early 90's.

It didn't have the grooves but just wanted to let you know that you can find a "T" handle that'll fit from something other than an F-body.

I think the grooved handle you're looking for is from the 4th Gens near the end of their run. Like '01-'02's maybe.
