"Firebird" gone(faded)

The "Firebird" lettering and the bird between the tail lights has faded so bady you can hardly tell it's there. Could this be fixed?

I already have the bird but for the lettering, I'll make you one out of vinyl if you can give me the pattern... just take a piece of thin paper, tape it tightly on the back over the "Firebird" letters, take a pencil on its side and "shade" over the lettering. This should produce a dark line/out line of the lettering exactly as it appears on the car. If you can do this and either mail it to me or email it to me at a scan of 1000dpi, I'll make one for you for free

Let me know.

Once I get the pattern by the pencil rubbing I can make it in any color. You can get the rest of the color off with some rubbing alcohol. I already designed the bird and the "Trans Am" and they came out real good!

Paint Pen

I actually used a weatherproof paint pen. You can get real fine ones at Wal Mart. It took me about an hour and you definitely need a steady hand, but it still looks good after 2 years. Although vinyl stickers could be nice too, do they stay on well with continuous washing and the weather beating down on it? I think the silver looks so much better on my black TA than the factory red. Check it out:

Sounds like you should sell this for a low price. Everyone that has a fadded bird wants one, except those few peopl who for some reason want to remove the bird.

You can buy decals in different colors but I can't remember where. Someone should know.
