Firebird gauges in a 2000 Camaro dash?

I found a 2000 Camaro dash to install in my 94Z28.. I have everything but the gauges... From doing a search, I see I need a 97 Z28 gauge cluster to work with my 94 wiring... I don't know how long I'll have to wait to find that... I was wondering if anyone knows if the 93+ Firebird gauges/cluster is the same size as the 97+ Camaro? I've tried to compare pics but that's not cutting it.. It looks like the mounts may be different but the overall dimensions are the same... Anyone know from actually comparing the two together?

I know the wiring is very different between the pontiac and chev. I put a T/A speedo in my Z and it was a pain in the ***. The harnesses and wiring are all different.

You can find a 97 cluster just you have to stay on ALL the boards and ebay and ****** one up as soon as it's posted. I was once on the hunt my self. Took me 2 weeks or so to find 3. It never worked out because I couldnt get the complete dash sent FPO so I gave up.

Thanks for the responses... I'm not worried too much about changing over the wiring... I'm sure it's a PITA but I can handle that... Just looking at the 93+ Firebird gauges and they look identical to the 97+ camaro... Maybe the clear plastic covering is different.. Don't know... But the gauge cluster itself looks the same... Honda Hunter, I got lucky... I bought the entire dash with all the switches for $40 at a wrecking yard around here... Had to pull it myself, but it was worth it.

The 93-97 Firebird/TA cluster is wired exactly the same as the 97 Camaro cluster. I know because i used the 97 Camaro wiring diagram when i installed my 93 TA dash and cluster.
