Love the HID kit on my dads vette always wanted that shine on a car of mine currently got 5000 HID lights in my DD (just the bulbs very white but not the real thing)

I had seen that particular setup talked about on one of my Ranger forums...

I'm of the opinion that you get what you pay for. This setup definitely won't make you forget HIDs, since HIDs are not 140 watts (watts are not a measure of light output, btw...as HIDs use only 35 watts of juice!) nor use bulbs.

I see this as nothing more than Silverstars on steroids, which means little in my opinion as it is...

that is just a higher power bulb, with a plastic cover on it.. In my opinion, putting a plastic cover on top of a very hot light bulb......

I have seen something once about a true HID kit, with ballast and all the assorted goodies, but it was like $300, and thats what you would expect.

I think I'm gonna end up putting some FF75s and a Pair of Hella Micro De Xenons then some sort of Lexan cover.
