Before

After

All the pics...

I know, i know, some of the angles the photographer picked aren't the best but he was in a rush and it was a crappy backdrop anyways

Yeah, the first 2 links are just to show the major contrast between a factory paintjob in great condition and a custom job...

I take it you found all the pics in the 3rd link. That was my exact inspiration for the spoiler. It does take some getting used to at different angles, but it seems to grow on people.

Thanks

Brent

That spoiler looks good to me. I've never liked the flush one that comes on firdbirds and formulas, so if you had that one, good job! If you had the high-rise Trans Am one though... shame shame

Re: Finally pictures of the hoodbird

what did you do for the spoiler...use a high rise hatch w/ no spoiler, then put on a 3piece camaro wing?

thanks

Yeah, based on the title of the thread I thought the pics were supposed to be of the hood bird lol. But yeah I clicked on the third link and looked it over. Very nice job on the car IMO.

I had the 'molded' firebird/formula spoiler so i guess it was a good job

That was masked and cut out by an artist on the basecoat.

Exactly, except that it is a a 1 piece wing. I wanted to use the 3 piece rksport one but it was more expensive and would have been a lot more complicated.

Thanks for the other compliments!

Re: Finally pictures of the hoodbird

i really like the spoiler the more i look at it. i bet it looks weird when you open your hatch and the spoiler is hanging off each side. love the black wheels also.
