Tuff Enuff Man...that is really cool....Lot's of work but worth it IMO too...............You have something unique and you didn't just buy it off a shelf.....that's what I think makes having a car worth it... It means a lot more when you put the work into it and not just buy it and slap it on.. Great Job!!

sorry... I don't have any pics, but when the final assembly is to be done, I will take some.

Also, I want to thank everyone for the compliments. It means a lot coming from guys who appreciate fbody cars and the time and work that can be spent on them to make each one unique.

Thanks,
Clarke

Thumbs up

That is really cool! I've seen a lot of panels with the letters painted but never one like that. I like it!

Actually, I have all the parts I need now including the EL light. All I have to do is assemble the panel and put it on the car. I will be waiting til spring to do the install as I keep the car in a storage garage for the winter and don't drive it. Once the weather starts to get nice, I will be getting the car out to install and you can be sure I will post the final results. I am proud of my panel and I am sure it will be one of the nicest panels anyone has done like this.

The "CAMARO" letters are part of the rear panel on the Camaro also. I had to use a dremel tool to cut the letters out of the fiberglass panel and do a lot of sanding to make it the way it is.
I do not think this mod would look good on a TA as the letters are too low and would look out of place to be lit. On the Camaro, the letters are tail light level and makes it look like more of a "factory" mod.
