Fiberglass fabricators good SS hood?
I'm probably going to get a SS hood for my 2001 Camaro. I've heard nothing but good things about them. Good one to go with? Also when I do order it I want to order a billit insert for the scoop. Any one point me in the right direction? How much did you pay for the paint job too? Thanks for your help.

I have heard allot of good things on there 93-97 hoods. But I was told on the 98up ones they are using the old style scoop (93-97 STYLE). So if you want a exact replica of the 98 up SS Hood go with the American Sports Car Designs hood. I know for a fact its a exact replica.

I just want a SS style hood. I'd actually prefer a different design from the SS model because I dont' want to be a "SS wannabe" I just love how the hood looks.

Anyone know where I can get a grill insert for the hood? Also what did you guys/gals pay for paint work? Thanks.

Anyone know where to get an insert for the fiberglass fabricators SS style hood (2001)? How much did painting cost? (so I don't get ripped off)

The FFI SS Hood comes with the insert already. Extra inserts are $40. I bought one of their hoods and am going to be getting another one soon. They are also using a better mold now.
