Feedback on Exterior, Suggestions??

So I'm looking for some feedback and suggestions on the exterior. The airbrush job of flames and lightning bolts wasn't my choice ($4k for the airbrushing). I bought it like that from a guy's ex for 5k. The airbrush work is not finished and the car is not clear coated. It only has mid-clear to preserve what's done. The original intent was to have a firehawk airbrushed onto the hood with the lightning bolts coming out of the wings. Eventually, I'd like to get something on the hood any thoughts?

Also going to do a t-tops conversion - eventually.

What do you like? What don't you like? What would you do if it was yours? I'm not going to change the airbrushing that's already done. It's not my style (feel free to bash it) but I have a hard time taking off a $4k airbrush job.

Well if you're going to keep the flames what I would do is still get the firehawk on the hood and then have the whole car hit with a candy red that'll turn the flames into ghost flames but they will still stand out and have a lot of depth and give the car a more uniform look. Right now to me it just looks like the flames don't do the car justice.

Will the candy red blend ok since it already has the mid clear? Anyone have any pics of firehawks for ideas?

The current mid coat clear would have to be wet sanded to add more depth to the overall color or lightly sanded just to get a good surface to paint on but the candy concentrate will be going into a mid coat clear so it'll blend just fine. Heres a pic of a candy red trans am yours would be more of a true red because of the base being red but those flames will be sick under the candy.

That looks awesome. It'll be a bit before I get it done but...that could be a winner.

All I can say is I'm glad they didn't finish the air brushing! Yikes!

Looks pretty decent as is, but man, that'd be overkill with the screaming chicken.

Hard tops are cool, I dunno why people like t-tops better.

Car is screaming for better wheels IMO...Wheels need to flushed out with the wheel wells, they look really tucked under for some reason.

Get some nice wheels and it will totally change the look of the car, then go from there-

in 1999 I would have painted my camaro like this if I had the money but thank God I didn't lol Like lymly is saying I would tone down them flames and bolts as much as you can. I mean if you like it ROCK it but unless your name is Dirt... Joe Dirt that is lol its way out dated IMO

t-tops......why not go all out and do Targa top. or like Brangeta said just leave it and enjoy the little handling are cars do have lol I wish I didn't have T-tops
