Every one with rear black outs/ taillight covers inside please....

Any one have any trouble with cops?? I have never had any probelms with my headlight covers, or having no front licence plate frame. I dont have any tint on my windows so I have had no problems there either.

I just dont want to be in front of a cop and have him pull me over and give me a fix-it ticket.

Yes I have. I actually got pulled over for my front plate and tint and then he decided to give me another fixit for my rear black outs. Kinda a lame cop. But if you take them off in front of them, I dont know if they can still give you a ticket/

no, I havent had any legal troubles with my blackouts, front or back. I have to drive by the station too everyday on my way to school. So I see plenty of copers.

However, mine have put a hole in my stock plasic piece. From heat I guess, they trapped in the sunlight and it melted it to the point of a hole. So just my personal experience.

Nope. Although I had one mention it once when I was pulled over for a different offence (which was dropped in court... I TOLD HIM I WAS INNOCENT ). After I gave him "the glare", he dropped the topic and let me go on my way.

Had the guy been a real pr!k though, I probably would have got the whole list:
- tail light covers
- smoke liscence plate cover
- no front plate (or ugly holder)
- tinted windows

You have a Chevy right?

I've never heard of problems from a set of Pontiac light covers.

Cool

hey whats up, i have tinted windows and blackouts on my headlights and taillights and turn signal covers along with no front license plate. everytime i have been pulled over they cops have never said anything to me about them. though my buddy got pulled over and he got a fixit ticket for his front blackouts! i guess the cop said to him that they are only legal during the day? he got pulled over at like 200am so im not sure about the law on them. lata

I have 5% tint all the way around, front and rear black outs, and no front plate. The cops have never said anything to me about it. I think they are more concerned about ricers with blue lights and bagged trucks around here than my camaro anyway.

A hole in the plastic? Are you kidding? I was thinking about getting rear blackouts but if its going to mess up my lights then I wont do it at all.

I got a ticket for my tint once... and he also gave me a written warning for my blackouts. The only reason he pulled me over though was because he saw I was speeding... but he didn't have his radar on. He said "You know we'll always get you one way or the other."

WHen I had the Black Z..I had no front plate, Tint all the way around (even Orange for a while), and GTS Blackouts on EVERY light on the car.....I never got sweated over here in hot a$$ Oakland or San Francisco. I was even pulled over a few times, and they didn't say anything about them.
I'm sure there is a cop out there that will get you for it though.
Just like the other day I got followed by some cops for about 20 blocks. Now I know that they can only follow me for 12 blocks or so before pulling me over.
ANyways...when I got to my destination, they pulled up on side of me and started asking all these questions as if I was doing something wrong.
When they found out my tags, insurange, and license was up to par, they said they pulled me over for the tint on my windows Yeah facking right!
