Ebony panels

Well I got my ebony door panels and convertible seatbelts today and I noticed something....ebony is definately NOT black. Its a really dark grey but when put next to my panels in the car that I painted black you can definately see that it isn't even close to real black Now I have to figure out how to make my interior look nice....word of advice...keep your interior the stock color, changing it is a PITA!!!!!!

Well I just got back from the Auto Interior place and the guy said that he can recover my panels and dye them to gloss black for $125 a panel. I'm just going to do that, I've spent so much this far might as well spend alittle more to get it perfect.

Up here in Connecticut everything is more expensive, it cost me $650 to get my ground effects installed and painted, and that was a good price

But i'm not rich nor does anyone in my family even own one of those cars. I'm one of the few and the brave that drive F-Bodies in Connecticut and is NOT white trash

Wow I paid $100 to have my rear seats reupholstered with black and white leather, and it is an exellent job. In San Antonio at a place were they paint SuperCars, they wanted to paint my Camaro for $1000, using DuPont Paint this is a place were they had a couple of wrecked Vipers, Vettes and a Ferrari. They were not cheap base cars either they were very expensive SuperCars. Maybe it would still be worth driveing south and having it done? Oh Yea also I have seen on ebay some dyed panels that went for only about $90, I was pricing for weeks cuz i switched my interior from tan to black, but if you have the money?
