Question Easiest way to make/buy a shift boot for an A4?

I want to put a shift boot on my A4 shifter. I think it'll make it look a little cleaner/better. Whats my best option?

I simply took a boot from an M6 car and trimmed it to fit

I just took off the white plastic piece under there and shoved it in then bolted it back on and that holds it in place. No, I did not remove that plastic crap. The boot just goes around that.

I'll have to make a trip down to the local junk yard and check it out.

Did you have to do anything special to make it stay up by the shifter? Or does it naurally stay up there?

Send this guy and email. His name is Chris White and he custom makes boots for both the shifter and e-brake for A4 fbodies. One of these days I'm going to get the set from him.
