I'm not sure how wise that would be. If the dye would rub out on clothes.

It'd probably be easier to have the seats reapholstered (sp?) to the colors you want.

not a good idea. Less trouble to just get another set of seats, or get them recovered.

It is very possible...I have done it, along with a few others on here. BUT - it isn't worth it man...I used the good stuff (the VHT Dye) and it rubbed off...The centers of my seats are all red everywhere except the contact areas, then they're pinkish/light grey...I spent about 6 hours taping them all off total, and couldn't drive that car for a few days. Just get them recovered if you want it that badly. It will cost quite a bit more, but it will look best.

Check out this thread.

This guy dyed his seats red and explains what type of dye he used, where he got it and the whole process. There are even pics of it.

White30th is having the same problems as I am now...we used different products, but they are both coming off. MILESF is the one who told me how he did his, and I followed his lead...this has been discussed a few times lately...try searching for "seats" or "dying"...stuff like that in the App. section, you will probably get a little more info.
