Dying cloth seats??

Ofcourse the cloth seats in my car are ebony, I don'tif these things fade of what but they seem grey so i want to dye them black and make them look new. I looked at some fabric dyes and to use them you have to remove the covers and soak them in hot water with the dye for 30 min. Is it that big of a deal to remove and replace the covers? I'm thinking this will be a major pain in the butt. Is there another way to do this?

Dying seats can turn into a nighmare fast, talk to a body shop or a interior shop, they should be able to instruct you as to the best method to go about.

I dyed the center section of my cloth seats (see sig) with dye made by VHT. It came out quite well. If you're interested on how I did it, E-Mail me and I'll send you the info.
