So far I've polished the alternator, AC lines, removed AIR, am going to get the Vette fuel rail covers, cusomize them. The LS1 shows more of the engine than the LT1 because of the alternator. You can also paint your valve covers or get new ones. There are some things you can do, you just have to get a little creative.

Polishing my alternator is the first thing I want to do I hate that thing right now! And I was thinking about getting the Vette fuel rail covers... but the only ones I see say "Corvette" so I'm not sure if I want to get them... so I think I'll just buy some new valve covers

A Vortech intake elbow is the best engine bay appearace mod. Here are a couple pics:

You can fill in the CORVETTE on the fuel rail covers. It is recessed and you can fill it with some plastic filler, then smooth out and paint to desired color, possibly put some camaro decals on them.
You can also hide all the wires on the pass side of the engine bay by running them behind your fender and bringing them out just before the PCM. Really cleans up the wheel well. Polishing the TB and alternator bracket. You can get a polished radiator cover or just paint yours/remove stickers as well. Colored wire loom. Chrome breather in place of Metal mesh hose covers, etc.

Here's a set of FRC's that I'm planning on getting for my LT1. http://impalaperformance.com/fuelrailcovers.html You could polish them, paint or powder coat them.

hmmm... I don't think I like those metal fuel rail covers.. a little to plain for me.. but thanks for the idea.

Where would be the best place to buy the Corvette fuel rail covers? I've been looking around and I can't find anywhere... and about the CORVETTE lettering.. I think I'll just buy those aluminum covers to go on top of them from MBA... even though at $173 it will hurt my pocket a little more than I would like

Thanks for all the ideas oh btw... with the Corvette feul rail covers.. would you see the valve covers at all? Just want to know cuz I wont paint them or something if I'm not going to see them..

And I just have to ask this now.. I doubt it but would the newer LS1 fuel rail covers fit the LT1?? I really love them but I've never seen them on an LT1 so I'm thinking no? Maybe with a little work you could make them fit?? Thanks!

This is where I got my FRC's www.gmpartsdirect.com
As soon as I get some extra time I'm gonna fill in the corvette
and either get white with red flames or red with white flames
or just red with a white "camaro" decal (I haven't decided yet)

Hey thanks! I just found the covers at gmpartsdirect.com I think I'm gunna go ahead and order them.. and I'm still assuming that the newer LS1 fuel rail covers wouldn't fit an LT1?

I've done some spiffing up under my hood, but, still have a lot more to do before I'm happy with it. You can take a look.

Filling in the CORVETTE was very easy. I just globbed on some bondo and scrapped off the excess with a putty knife, and sanded them down after it dried. Nothing to it, and I was very happy with the results.
