6inch cowl is the smallest i can run with my soon to be new set up. Does anybody have a pic of one on a 4th gen?

sorry can't help you on that. never seen one. you'll probably end up doing custom.
but man, it will be a b!tch to drive around with one of this bad boys.

 

theres a company that makes then for our cars up to i think 9 inches.

Nice a 6 inch cowl hood, that would be off the wall. I would just watch out for the state troppers they dont like cowl hoods over 4 inches off the hood.

 

I will post pics as soon as i get the hood. I hope it doesn't look tacky. but i dont have many options. The carb itself is going to be about 1/2 - 1 inch above the stock hood then a decent size air filter and walla, im 4-6 inches above stock
