Do you think this can be fixed?

The 02 SS is my mom's, the 95 Z28 is my sister's, and the Corolla is mine.

I forgot I don't have the Corolla in my sig anymore.

AAHHH!! I understand. Just hang in there man. Way to much money needed to fix that one. There are deals to be had. I got mine for 4k. It had 115k miles. Besides a slow window motor, non working power seat, and new tires, it didn't need anything else.

You should of bought it.That realy wasnt even that bad.As far as structual damage that would of had to be cut out and welded in would of been your radiator core support. All the rest of that could of been pulled out on a frame rack. You could of had a body shop do all the structual repairs for 1000-15000$ Wish I could of came acrossed that one

The guy who bought it is a guy I know. He expects that it can be saved for $25k...

He thinks it is worth it...

*First I assume you ment 1500. 1k to 15K is a pretty big leap.*

Not a chance. You'd have more than that in parts to fix the unibody. Not to mention the whole front end including motor and cradle needed to be removed to fix something like that. Core support is trashed frame horns are bent in and down(a bitch to repair) the bumper support is trashe and as was said before from the shock towers forward they are probably pulled inward. that's all assuming this thing was a straight on hit, if it was off to one side or another the front end likely has all that damage shifted one way or another.

What did they want for it BTW?

You'll be glad you didn't get it. My car has been wrecked....twice....and I hate that I still have it. About the second time you find something slightly off line or a bolt hole a little cockeyed it's not worth dealing with.

Yeah i meant $1500. You think because things are bent and out of line that you have to replace everything? Not the case.Only the things that are wasted beyond repair NEED to be replaced.A body shop (like the one I work in) would replace everything because it pays more, but its not necessary.I guess maybe it would cost your average joe too much to fix but anyone who has a little know how could of done it fairly cheap. You can do alot with a frame rack.I just bought a cadillac eldorado from my work that was totalled out hit the same exact way.Core support was wasted.Shock towers pulled in and down.Cut the core support out, bought a new one from the salvage yard for $40 bucks.Straightened everything up at home with a cumalong and a tree, and once it was close i took it to work and used the frame rack to x everything out and bring it back to cadillac's specs.Cost a big wopping $600 bucks for all parts.Hood alone would of costed $1500 new because they dont make a aftermarket one,$175 at a salvage yard. I guess my point is if you had the resources it could of been had for cheap. But not everyone does.I'm glad someone felt it was worth fixing. They are a dime a dozen at junk yards around here.
