I saw a post about opinions on the interiors, well I was just wondering what you guys think about the ss look vs z28. I have a z28 with the ss spoiler and i really like how it looks. The spoiler has an arc instead of being flat but still isnt a huge wing (a good thing).

All my friends tell me i should rebadge my car to ss but I really think that would be corny and i like my z28 hood a little better(The cowl hoods look very cool in my opinion too). I dont like the camaro ram air hood for some reason. I think z28 sounds better than ss too. (For trans ams, i would definentally go ws6 over the standard though).

Welk, whats your guys' opinions, what do you like better? am i the only one who like the z28 hood better?

 

I like the SS better. Especially LS1 style with the center exit exhaust.

 

I love the SS look. I've thought about putting the SS badges on my car for 2 simple reasons. 1. The SS emblem i think looks better than the Z28 i love how its just outlined at least on the black and white ones. 2. People think the SS is a super badass car with a whole differen't built motor compared to the Z28's. I was at a drive thru and some guy at the window was talking to me about my Z then he tells me his buddy has a bone stock SS that runs 12.5's at the track. For some reason his SS would run a 12.5 and a stock Z runs a 13.5. Oh well, in my opinion Gm did it right and the SS is a good donor for parts.

 

I think the SS is way better looking than a Z28.

I'd like to make mine into a clone if I could afford it.

 

SS > Z28 to me. JMHO though.

The SS is what the Z28 should've been. The SS should've been a stock looking car with an LS6 motor. But thats another can of worms i'll leave closed....

 

I always get people thinking I've got a Z28 when I really have a V6

I useto like the Z28 with ground effects more, but now I'm a fan of the SS.

THe wheels,hood, spoiler and especially the center exhaust do it for me.

 

I forgot about the center exhaust, that definentally looks cool.

 

My car will eventually be an SS clone appearance wise (except for the badges). I loooove both the hood and the 98+ spoiler. All it takes is money i dont have

 

I might be biased now, but I think the LT1 SS is the baddest looking of any v8-powered Camaro. Just check out the Pics in my sig.

yea i love my lt1 ss conversion..i put the lt1ss hood and the 98=ss spoiler and the cme it looks so clean...but i will never put ss emblems on it...im a proud z28 owner

 

The looks of the LT1 SS is awesome IMO.

 

I like SS's and all but I wanted a Z-28 If I got a SS I wouldn't have changed anything on it but with a Z-28 I can go all out changing stuff

 

SS hands down....not as big fan of the non chrome 10 spokes though on the newer 00-02's
