Post Do I need new shocks, relocation brackets, adj panhard bar if I lower 1.5"?

I am using eibach pro kit 1.5" lowering springs and I read that I need to buy new shcoks, adj panhard bar, relocation brackets, and i need an alignment. Is all of this true and is it better on your car? How much would all of this cost? Or is it too much trouble to lower?thanks

I would definitely recommend getting LCA brackets, as traction sucks after lowering. Other than that, lowering my car actually helped my camber in the front, as I was getting excessive outer wear on my fronts before the change. I used Susp. Techniques springs and they dropped my car about 1.75" all around.

More good info on changing the springs can be found on my reader's rides page in my sig.

You dont NEED to have the relocation brackets, panhard rod, and shocks, you can put only the springs on, but it doesnt hurt to buy the rest, so you can set it up the way YOU want it and how your comfortable with it, at least get the relocation brackets the everything is aligned right, my friend lowered his with the prokit and didnt put on the relocation brackets and he gets uneven wear on his tires eventhough its within spec when he gets it aligned.

if you are just going for the looks, then you won't need the relocation bracket. But I do agree that you'll need all of those mentioned and more.
