I have a 98 Camaro that has a cracked dash pad. I know a 98-99 dash pad will match up correctly but what about the 00 and up dash pads? Did all of those come in ebony black or did some of those come in the grey color that will match the 98-99 cars?

 

I was also wondering this, I know the 97-99 complete dashes are graphite(grey) and the 00-02 are ebony(black) is this true? If so, do the dash pads also vary like this or are they all the same color?

 

I have an 02 and its Graphite, my friend has a 97 and its definately ebony and a lot darker.

 

The dash itself? or the dash pad?

 

All of it, the dash, wheel, airbags, center console, they are way darker than mine. A friend of mine also did a dash swap in his 94 and it was very dark in comparison to mine, I believe his was out of a 98.

 

OK, well I guess that disproves the year break that was told to me, so I guess the ebony/graphite can be in any year from 97-up then....But are the dashpads(the large top hard plastic peice) for your cars the same color or differ with the dash colors?

 

Don't know, I couldn't say for sure if they came out of the same car anyway. My 02 Dash is definitely Graphite (beige interior), and my friends is Dark. I have seen 97's with much darker dashboards, especially ones with white interiors.
