hey i swapped my dash out for a 94 trans am dash. i got it allmost all in and called it quits when i noticed my camaro cluster plug wont plug into the trans am cluster.. im pulling my hair out and dont know what to do. has anyone ever done the swap and solved this problem?

 

 

use a ta cluster ?

 

I have the ta cluster in it but the plug wont work cus its different... Iv read that a 97 camaro cluster is same a ta and will plug right in the can,

 

just look into the wiring diagram for the 94 t/a and the 95 camaro and splice the wires from the 95 into the cluster plug for the t/a. i had to do that when i was swaping to a newer dash. its not hard

 

 

im not 100% sure if the top one is the camaro. i dont remember cause its been awhile but hopefully this helps you out.

 

That does help thank you so much. Only issue now is finding a ta dash harness to cut plug off of.

 

Not trying to jack your thread but I tried on another for to ask with no response and figured someone on here may know.... Will a camaro cluster from a 96 fit into a firebird bezel.... I to want to swap in a firebird dash and console but I want to keep my gauges and odometer the way they are

 

nope. wont fit. fire bird clusters are shorter in length, rounder, and taller. where the pre 97 camaro clusters are longer in length and shorter in height. you can take cluster apart and roll odometer to what ever u want. my once 160k trans am cluster now has 15k. so if you wana swap dashes u gota get a new plug for cluster. or a trans am dash harness. i ordered the right plug and im waiting on it to come.
