dash pad install on 94 z28
i'm a new member, but an older guy and long time camaro builder. i need a little help with installing a new dsah pad in my 94 z28. it's a complete resto i'm doing with my 8 yr old grandson. any help appreciated. thanks, dragonman
Its a two-point process- the a-pillar covers have a notch on the inside that the upper dash pad rests in. They can't be removed until the upper dash pad is lifted slightly.
IMO- the best way to insure you don't ruin your dash pad is to lift the corners slightly first- it will allow you to remove the a-pillar covers which in turn give you considerably more room to maneuver the dash pad and not have to flex it so much getting it out.
Hope that makes sense-
