cutting springs ?

Has anyone done this? I have Sportline's and i find the driver's side sits about 1/4" higher than the passenger side. Can i get them trimmed without any adverse affects?

Cutting springs and heating springs are the worst way of lowering a car

I think it's noticeable, but i don't know if anyone else does. I'm a bit of a perfectionist so it bugs me...i was hoping for a solution of some sort, simple if possible.

Ya, air bags would be nice - but don't they cost $1500 or something like that?

I've cut a few sets of stockers for friends with no adverse effects.
Just use a cutoff wheel instead of a torch and you'll be fine.

Cut 1 coil from fronts and 1.25 coils from rear for around 1 inch drop.

Cut 1.5 coils from front and 2 from rear for the same effect as a Eibach sportline.

The reason it sits higher is so when you sit in it, it will level out

I've heard that before, but find it hard to believe that the car will sink 1/4" when one os average weight sits in it.

Well instead of thinking that it won't work and leaving it at that get someone to look while you are sitting in the car and be sure about it
