Question Cut Springs?

I'm wondering if anyone has cut their springs on their camaro. I'm wondering how they ride, good or bad etc. Plus how many springs did you cut? Hope to get some feedback

I wouldn't recommend it, but if u only wanted like a 1" or 1.5" drop etc... u should be ok. Most shops will know how much to cut off to get u the correct drop.

Either way if it's a older OR high milage FBody, I would REALLY recommend getting new shocks.

The other process I have heard about is heating the springs, and compressing them slightly to give you the desired height.

I thought about it, but just get the springs. You'll like it better in the long run

I've heard bad things about cutting springs, such as rides ****ty and won't pass inspection if you take it to a shop that checks everything on a car...but I was just wondering if there was any positives to it. I'm trying to find air cylinders for my car but I can't find any so it looks like I'ma have to go with something else.
