custom ttops are in and custom paint pics

Looks good, but I don't understand the custom aspect. Did you put in the T-tops yourself because your car didn't have them or something? And I guess the black painted roof is the custom paint portion.

I don't understand the custom aspect either, looks pretty stock to me

except for the stick on fake hood scoops, but I will let someone else comment on those.

I'm pretty sure the roof section is custom. I don't think firebirds ever had black roofs. Looks nice though, I will be doing the conversion soon too

Guys, sorry I cut off my roof! This was a hard top not only 4 days ago! I'll have a walkthrew on the process soon! Just need webspace

yeah the rear section of the roof is custom black. firebirds and t/a's didn't come w/ black roofs like camaros, they were the same color as the body. i think it looks real good. good job w/ the install too.

IMO the hoodscoops look pretty good. It would make for a nice custom hood if it were one piece.

I dont know maybe im missing something here but doesnt his "custom t top" = T top conversion that a load of people have done on this board? Why is everyone makin a big deal about these?

- They wouldn't look bad if he had them molded into the hood. Looks kind of like the ram air scoops that came on some GTOs. If he had a body shop mold them in and they looked more "fluid", then I'd def. do that if I had a firebird!

- Nope, Firebirds didn't come like that from the factory. Strictly a Camaro option. I like the look on the bird though!
