custom rims

how would this look if I cut some of the spokes out of my salad shooters? I can't afford new rims. would this make them too weak? my salads aren't chrome like the ones I edited but could it be done? possibly sandblasted painted silver/chrome and clear coated? any advice thanks

I don't know if it would actually make them weaker or not, but I'd never be able to trust them again personally. If I were you, I'd just leave them alone. You said you can't afford new wheels and if you mess up cutting yours away, then you'll have to buy new ones.

I think they look better factory than with those extra spokes removed. Plus, they would most likely be a lot weaker and maybe break.

Yea, I agree with everyone else. I would just leave it alone until I could get some new ones. Also, if you start cutting them then you may very well get them out of balance. Which could make them wobble and or weak when on your car.

Why not leave it alone and possibaly save your life in the process. Nothing good can come of you dooing this. You will throw them off balance and I mean way off where you wont be able to get them back in balance. This will eat your berrings up and will eat your tires up. If they break and are in the front look fowaerd to loosing total control of the car and wrecking it possibaly dieing in the process. In the back look for the same thing.

Warning DO NOT DO THIS. YOU COULD DIE OR KILL SOMEONE ELSE IN THE PROCESS.

If you don't have enough money for wheels, what are you going to do when you loose control and total you car? Insurance won't cover stupidity.
