Man Ive been bashing my head on this one. Here's the story. I want to go with some custom interior on my 1984 Z28. Im also changing the paint color. How do I match interior with exterior paint? On my Camaro, there are plastic pieces all through out the car, alot in the hatch. they will not match the cloth interior or paint I go with!!!

 

Get them painted to. You can go with either a smooth paint job like on the outside of the car or you can do a color that looks like a stock interior that looks close or exact to the materials you are going to use in the upolstery. it's up to you what you wann do though

EDIT: almost forgot you could also get them covered in the same cloth, leather or whatever as the seats and doorpanels

 

how much would it cost to cover the panels in leather or cloth? That sounds pretty cool.

 

I'm sure that is gonna depend on what kind, and where you get the leather at.

 

where is there to get the leather from? Im re-doing my interior too, not sure how leather would look but it sounds cool.

 

Ok..so the plastics would just be covered up with a material or paint them too? Have you done any of this? Have you or anyone you know done anything like this? Just curious. thanks
