I saw something like this on a bike show on discovery and thought it would be awesome for a camaro.

Chrome racing stripes. It would have to be a seperate piece of metal not actually part of the hood or roof or rear. But in my head I imagine a car with some really nice paint, then some really nice chrome wheels, the chrom stripes, and maybe as a final detail some nice chrome emblems. Maybe I'm crazy.... It sounds like too much chrome but in my head it works perfectly.

 

honestly I think it would suck...it would be totally ghetto

 

hmmmm....when I think of chrome racing stripes, the first thing that comes to mind is a lowrider car show.

Well, I don't know about Chrome... but a nice Pearl Silver would be cool, depending on the base color of the car. I'm going to try to con my brother into re-painting my car and putting silver strpies on it this spring... he may do it for the cost of the materials.... Now, what can I trade him for that.... hmmm.....

 

I think this would bring up safety issues. Unfortunately the chrome would be too reflective and the glare from sun or headlights would distract drivers of on coming traffic.

the chromed out kar sounds kool, but the chrome stripes would be a little to much..maybe having Silver stripes PAINTED on would make it looks alot cooler..

 

Yea this was the response I expected. It just seems like too much. But when I saw it done on a chopper it was reaally cool. More of a showcar idea not a practical car.
