I have a warbird hood for my 98 z. What should it cost to paint it?

 

I had my warbird painted by a friend of a friend yesterday for $150 bucks. If I were you, I would try and find someone who has the hook up. Don't just go to a dealership or paint shop. They charge WAY too much. I'd say atleast $400 bucks.

 

It really depends on the color, but like TransAmG2 it would be better if you knew someone that could paint it for you. Hers is white so I see why she got it painted for $150. Mine on the other hand had to be painted red so the paint was a little more expensive, but I got a guy I use to work with paint it and he charged me $200. Otherwise it would have been like $300-$400.

Is the hood already on the car? If not, it'll be a PITA to fit right and you'll pay more for that as well...
