Corvette Fuel Rail covers on an Fbod, rice or nice?
Our F-body engine bays look better with FRCs, but I think they should either say Camaro, Z28, SS, Firebird, Trans Am, Formula or nothing at all. I followed my advice on mine, but do whatever you like.

As long as you don't think adding FRC's will add some tremendous HP, then no it is not rice. I think FRC's look pretty good, I just think you should try to find some that say "Camaro" for that is what your car is.
I have an idea about them saying "CORVETTE," actually. Couldn't you fill in the lettering with something (putty, I dunno), sand that down when it's dry...repaint the covers...then put on like vinyl lettering or something to say "CAMARO" if you wanted?
I think that'd work perfect..
BTW, are the "92-93 LT1 Corvette" covers I see able to fit all our LT1 engines? (because it only says 92-93...and I know the LS1's are listed as 94-99 and 97-98)...

For what it's worth, this is a pretty grey area. On the one hand, it is "technically" mislabeling the engine bay. But on the other hand, it is the correct engine so WTF ?
I had the Corvette FRC's on my car last season, and they looked sweet as hell, even with the Corvette letters, but when I put them back on, they are going to be plain this time.
I think the letters themselves distract from the overall appearance IMO.

I just bought some FRCs I am going to fill in the corvette part and either paint or vinyl CAMARO Z28 on them. I want to paint them silver with the Camaro part red. I am still working out my whole engine bay appearence, its taking a lot more time than I thought. I am going to send my intake, water pump and some other crap to BMR to get powdercoated. I am going to get a polishing wheel for my buffer and just have at stuff with some eastwood polishing compound lol. My Holley TB which was polished already looks like crap so does the plate. Maybe I should just chrome this stuff polish is so hard to maintain, argh! Anyways I am rambling

the Corvette is filled in, and there's Camaro decals on them.

Yeah, I kind of figured someone had attempted this already (it seemed like a common sense idea to me)...but I couldn't find anything on the search.
