Converting stock LT1 hood into cowl

I scored a brand new painted hood for $20 and will have my old hood to play with. Has anyone ever converted a stock hood into a cowl one?

nope, never seen one either. but it would be fun to play around and see what u can do with it...

There is a sheet metal cowl scoop that I see in Super Chevy all the time that's $150 or so. It looks good. The trick would be mating it seamlessly to the hood...
