Convertible SeatBelt Shoulder Harness

Has anyone ever put the seatbelt shoulder harness' on a Camaro that didn't have them originally? Will this work?

The seatblest harness' I want to use are the ones from Hawks

I am not sure if this can even be done, but let me know if someone thinks it can be done or has done it before.

The mount for the guide will likely still be under there, though it might be a bit hard to pinpoint. Just feel around. You'll feel a flat plate on the seat frame. It'll have the screw holes in there. Get an awl to poke through the material to make it easier to start the screw. Then once the holes are pre-poked, line the guide up to it, use the awl to locate the hole again, then start your screw.

I talked to the parts guy at chevrolet a few years back about this and he said its not possible because the mounts arent there. I just took his word for it. But having you ask the same question it makes me think. Chevy is too cheap to actually have 2 different frames. I bet there are mount plates there. Ima go look at mine.
