For those of you with convertibles, do the convertibles rumble when the top is up, I mean do you hear rattling throughout the car?

I have a 94 Z28 Vert and when the top is up I hear noises every little bump I go over, and it annoys me. A buddy of mine told me if I put dyna matte (spelling wtf) on the metal parts of the top that is will stop it from it sounding like a bottle cap in a blender.

However does anyone know if this will work?> Anyone try this before?

One last thing, has anyone ever tightened up the top, I mean re-tightened the bolts on it? Just curious if perhaps the bolts are getting loose and that is why it is making the noises.
