Conv. Top leaking/problems! Need help!
My 95' top is leaking where the top mates to the windshield edge at both A-pillars, and that's not bad, but irritating.
When I really wash the car, is the rear cloth section supposed to be glued to the window? I notice a plastic piece lining the edge, but mine is not attached, and when I wash the car, that billows up with water, and if you reach around in there, you can work around and poke to the inside, and the water drips a little in there too.
I read the top care guide posted by one member. Also, is there a way to get creases out of the fabric that are there, or to smooth is out/tighten the fabric at all?
And anyone know of aftermarket or factory places where I can get new material for the top? The frame and all is good, but the fabric/stitching is getting a little old. The same material would be nice, but not necessary.
Anyone?

I had the same problem with the rear window in my '95z up until a few months ago...after that plastic strip breaks away from the glass there is no way to fix it...I ended up going to an automotive trim specialist and having a whole new top and rear glass put on. Cost me about 1400 total much nicer to have new cloth top but I still suffer from the leaking at the corners of the top and a pillar, let me know if you find a remedy.

Actually, yesterday I did find something. Automotive goop between the glass and plastic strip.
Works great, holds it tight as sin, though I worry I didnt use enough, if you do pull HARD it will seperate and you can scrape the stuff off, but it holds to a high-pressure wash with no leaks back there, and it's still tight.
On the front corners - it hasnt even rained more then a drizzle since I posted this, but I'm working on it (aside from re-ordering the parts from gmpartsdirect, I emailed them and they gave me the p/n for the weatherstripping, but I havent seen how much that'll run me yet.
