Conv. Top got knifed , Need help ???

I have a 95 z with a black top , about three weeks ago it got broken into . I guess they decide going through the top would be the best option ,needless to sayI need a new top . Does anybody know where I can get a top new or used for a decent price . Thanks

If you get a new top, get a "Robbins" brand top. Most of the top shops around here won't even put any other brand on. They say the robbins tops are the best.

As far as used, call a few of the board sponsors and see if they have a convertible they are parting out with a good top on it.

Tbyrne had an entire top with frame and everything for sale in his garage sale area. Check the website. I think it was $600 for everything, but shipping was an issue. Call around to local trim shops. You should be able to get black cloth replace for around $800.

Do you have comprehensive insurance?

I'm sure you could have it fixed under comprehensive insurance.

And most of the time Comprehensive is just a $100 deductible too, since this constitutes vandalism. Good luck!
