considering buying these....let me know what you think

I am getting rims and tires this summer and i'm trying to be economical. i plan on lowering my car with the eibach prokit series later so keep that in mind. I was looking on ebay and found this set up:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=38662

What do you guys think? Will 265/35 tires work on a set of 18X9.5 inch rims? Will the set up work with my car lowered? Do you guys forsee any problems that i will run into? etc.....

thanks for all your help guys.

use that search feature. Those Y2k's have been talked about A LOT. They look pretty sharp.

The best tire for those rims is a 275/35/18. That will give you the same diameter as a stock tire and rim.

they would be going on a 96 z28.

is there any reason other than to keep the stock diameter for putting 275s rather than a 265? cause if not then i will just get the computer reprogrammed. what would be the difference between a 265 and a 275 visually, etc...?

so you guys don't like the center caps why? is it cause the symbol is for vettes? should i just get a plain centercap?

let me know what you guys think. i appreciate all your help.

thanks

i would keep the corvette centers on there, its a very suttle way of letting everyone know that you have a modded Z. anyway the Z and corvettes are cousins/ its not like theres a galiping pony on there or something!

Good deal are they new or used? You can buy plain chrome center caps at aftermarket wheel companies that sell replica y2k vette wheels.
