Dont use the bulbs. Try the gel. My esperience with them (From murray's) was that they would turn yellow after about 2 months. Then they look like crap. iwant them to stay blue damnit. I am going to try gel here soon.

I just checked out those bulbs and they look neat. Have you had any problems with them? Also, what color do they actually glow?

Go to Parts Express and enter colored gels in their search.

www.midnightmoose.com also has them (212-2) colored map light bulbs for $8 each. They're high wattage though (for inside a car), so they're worth the price.
for the rear dome light i'm gonna use a lighting gel.

cats' bulbs probably work just fine too,

Thumbs up

I've got red in mine. You don't have to get the halogen bulbs that have the loops on the end. Just the halogens that are double sided. Looks awesome.

had no problem with them feeting or working. they are very bright and do not take that much energy. the only problem is they are lighted up only from one site and you have to put them in the right way. but it's only the metter of one minut.

In my first car, a Corsica, I took the dome light cover off and painted the inside of the cover with candy blue spray paint, so when the light was off, it still looked stock, but glowed a nice blue when on. Many compliments on that.
