Thanks,

Do you have an LT1 97< ? If so, there are no lights behind the *****. The LS1's have lights behind there *****, so they are lit up. I dunno if you can get the LT1's to light up, if so I would like to know how also.

You have to get the HVAC unit from an LS1 car and put it in yours, if your car is an LT1.

In 97 and up you can just peal the covering off the HVAC bulbs and they are clear underneath. The headlight **** on the other hand is white. I'm not sure, but I don't believe they can be bought anywhere. I got my information from this thread

So in theory, if i just find some blue xenon bulbs or something i could make the "clear" hvac ***** lightup blue? I hate clear lighting in cars...its too bright for my tastes. Or i could go LED?

Thanks,
Dave

#74 blue LEDs will work in the HVAC. I got mine from www.superbrightleds.com .
The headlight control light is TINY so you would have to get a 3mm LED and solder it in yourself. I'm not sure yet if I'm going to go this route or just unplug the headlight control light all together. I'll decide once I finish putting blue LEDs in my radio this weekend.

Oh and if you haven't done it yet get #74 LEDs for the lights that shine on the window and door lock switches. It looks great
