clear corners

I am going to purchase some corners for the z, I think in cali you need to have colored trun signal bulbs. somone correct me if I am wrong. The question is both bulbs are not on at once right, I mean I want to have the running lights be white and put the orange ones in there when the signal is wrong. is this right or do i have to use the same bulbs?

thanks
miles

Whatsup Miles,

I think I know what you are getting at. You want your clear corners clear correct ? And then u want the seperate FAR CORNER lights (usually used as parking lights) to blink yellow when u signal in order to be legal ? ?
I wanted the same thing, and you will have to re-wire things to get it to work. One of the problems is that it is a smaller bulb in that far corner. The dual filiment blinkers, and the relays for the blinkers are the other problem.

(NOT euro clear)

and YES I'm not gonna lie, it is gonna be hard as hell to do but don't give up.

In order to be street legal, I wanted to try and do what you are thinking of, and it didn't sound that hard until I rewired my relays for the DRL's (none of the online guides worked).

That's when I realized how the blinkers really are designed to work. So I could have either:

1) SUPER BRIGHT DRL's OR
2 be street legal with that mod u are talking about (which I dunno if anyone has ever done)

but not BOTH at once

Pu12en12g what did you do to the hood vents in that picture? They look functional and taller than stock.

Lost,
I opened them up to extract heat... It's pretty easy to do, and fully reversible.
