I am going to modify my 95 T/A tails and make them clear, my question is, is there anyway to modify the 3rd brake light to make it clear as well?

I think you might get pulled over for that... that third brake light is actually a signal light. not just a marker light.

 

you may get a ticket for the clear tails (lack of a red reflector) , but not the thrid brake light. To make the third brake light, you could go to home depot, but the light covers they use in drop ceilings (that you see in basements and offices). Cut to the size of the light and get a heat gun to help mold the plastic to the light. Then silicon it to the light so it can seal.

 

I've had my reflectors pulled from my tails for 2 years now, i've had cops behind me also and have never been pulled over. I woudln't make the 3rd light clear. Anyways, you could tell the cops your lights are dot approved The tails are actually brighter and they are red red.
