Question Cleaning engine bay???

i am going to clean the engine bay this afternoon but i heard that some parts of the engine bay need to be covered and protected from the water or the car wont start. What do i have to do to prepare it to be cleaned, i will just be using plain car wash soap and a sponge to clean it.

Re: Cleaning engine bay???

You don' thave an opti, only 93-97 F-bodies have the opti. You don't really have to worry about anything, just make sure all your connectors stay intacked while your spraying everything down.
