Thanky!

Yeah, you DEFINITELY need a water catcher with a blast cabinet!!!

The one I bought was $299 from Tractor Supply Co, and I bought my glass beads there too. You should be able to get glass beads from there, or a Home Depot/Lowes type place or something. Glass beads are good too because they aren't abraisive to aluminum, meaning they won't strip the metal away.

Are you using straight up sand? I think that's not a good idea, because of some kind of disease you can get from silica dust...

Here's my blasting setup:

351W Edelbrock Vic Jr converted to EFI for size reference:

The water catcher I bought at sears. I've got it attached right at the blast cabinet.

I've been blasting about everything with this thing!

You know what works great to is a wire wheel on a drill.

Check out my water pump before:

After I beaded it, it had a clean but dull appearance. Then I hit it with a wire wheel. I also used a rubbing compound then polishing compound on the elbows.

That's a nice setup you have. I wish I had more room for stuff like a blast cabinet. I've wanted one for about 6 years now, along with a hydraulic press, Bridgeport mill, vehicle lift lol......

That's the same exact table and chairs we have!

I want a bead blaster now - that is just awsome - it looks so slick!

Wal Mart $99 baby!!!

Yeah, I didn't want to spend money on new shocks. It originally started as a cheapo LT1 rebuild, turned 383, turned K-member, turned this and that, now I'm $10K into it. I'll worry about the suspension another time. Need to concentrate on the rear after this.
