Center vent gauge mounting

Anyone able to reroute that somewhere else so you still get the full air/heat? I was thinking about a motorized plate behind the dash, but that probably wouldn't work.

Hmm

The heat comes out on the floor, so that's no problem. With gauges in the 2 left-most center A/C vents, there was still adequate A/C flow out the remaining center vent to balance with the end vents. Only when I filled in the 3rd center A/C vent did I see a difference, but by then the A/C was long gone.....

uhhh-ohhh..... somebody stole the radio

You know, that pic gives me a great idea. When I get my DIN Head Unit, there will be a gap. I could route it that way!

If anyone is reading, I'd really like to see night pictures of what these gauges, and white face gauges look like. You don't get alot from looking at the manufacturer's pictures.

I'll make another thread in a day or two if no one replies.

I saw this done in a supra and when I get guages I plan on doing the same.... The owner took out the a/c-heat dials and moved them into the armrest and then he put the guages where the dials used to go I will see if i can find the pic to show you exactly what I mean.

The radio filler plate in the photo is a piece cut from a sheet of 0.025" aluminum, and painted with The Eastwood Company vinyl paint in "Graphite". I've also used the paint for my "grafted" A-pillar, and it is a perfect match for the 94 "graphite" interior.
